Statement My work is very much landscape based often of very small areas of familiar countryside close to where I live in South Yorkshire. I have a love of the rhythm of nature, the beauty of the changing seasons and the surrounding topography.
1. Stitched paintings on calico, very small and intensively worked pieces.
2. Very large often abstract pieces worked in oils on canvas, colourful and expressive. Fabric is sometimes applied to these pieces when appropriate.
